The competition in English conversation has a long tradition and is held at the school, district, regional and national levels. The school round is usually attended by several dozen students in three age categories. This round is usually held in January and the winners of individual categories advance to the district round in Ústí nad Orlicí, which takes place in February.

Why should you participate?

- You will have the opportunity to measure your communication skills with others and find out for yourself how you react in a mildly stressful situation.
- The winners will be rewarded with beautiful diplomas and material prizes donated by the GVM Parents' Association.

Proposition of the school round

1) Listening
2) Oral part
a) Independent improvised oral expression motivated by a picture that the student draws (students do not know the pictures in advance)
b) Dialogue between the student and the commission on the chosen topic (thematic areas - see below)
